Ashu Phakey has over 20 years of experience in sales and marketing across diverse industries like FMCG, Retail and Media. He started his career with WIMCO and then went on to work with Frito Lay and Nestle.   Ashu Phakey’s stint with media started with the Dainik Bhaskar group as COO North - where he was responsible for managing the P&L and establishing a robust business strategy that was profitable, grew the brand footprint, build loyal readership and grew top line revenues.
 

He was hired by Hindustan Times as National Circulation Head for both Hindi and English businesses. After a successful stint as business head, he was promoted to COO for the entire HT Business. In his stint with HT , he has managed operations, P&L and worked towards expanding the brand footprint. HT is today the largest read newspaper in Delhi + Mumbai and Punjab, and one of the most profitable businesses in the print media industry.
