A year and a half ago, Iñigo Aznar  joined Atletico de Madrid becoming Commercial Director, CCO. He is in charge of  global sponsorship, advertising, retail and merchandising areas. Joining the fastest growing European Club over the last seven years has been a privilege and a true challenge,  that he states he is enjoying a lot.

 

He started his career in 2000 in Cologne (Germany) joining Nielsen Sports , one of the most important global sports consultancy companies. He then was in charge of the start up of its new subsidiary in Barcelona giving service to major European Sponsors, agencies and properties.

 

Three years later he joined the commercial department of Real Madrid, being in charge of the national business for sponsorship, image rights of players and advertising, both in football and basketball.
